Liverpool have lodged a bid for Rodrygo – the Santos striker dubbed 'the new Neymar'.
According to Globo Esporte, The Reds have identified the 17-year-old as a future star and have already submitted a formal offer.
Santos, however, are desperate to cling onto the gifted teenage forward, who is considered the star of their youth set-up.
The Brazil Under-17 international, who signed a deal with Nike aged just 11, is set to be promoted to the first team in the coming months so they do not want to sell him.
