BID REJECTED! Arsenal fail with £25m offer for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani
Arsenal have had a £25.6million offer for defender Daniele Rugani rejected by Juventus.
According to reports in Italy, the Gunners lodged a formal bid for the talented 22-year-old only to be rebuffed.
Juve see Rugani as a key part of their long-term vision for the club following his impressive break through season last term.
He has suffered an injury-affected campaign so far this time around and has started just eight games but that has not stopped links with a move away.
And Calciomercato have claimed that Arsenal firmed up their interest with a bid ahead of the summer window.
But Rugani only penned a new deal with Juve in December and the Turin giants clearly have no intention of selling him.
