The Google Assistant is coming to all Android phones running Marshmallow or Nougat

Previously Google Assistant was the Pixel only thing, some developers managed to hack the Assistant into their non-Pixel phones but that wasn’t official. Some reports also suggested that LG’s G6 will be the only non-Pixel smartphone to get the Assistant support, but Google just killed all those rumors.
Google Assistant is a much-advanced version of the Google Now. Unlike Google Now, Google Assistant can engage in two-way conversations. Previously it was only available on Google Home, Allo app, Google Pixel, and Android Wear. But soon it will be included into all Android smartphones running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and 7.0 Nougat.
When Google Assistant was revealed, everyone was a little disappointed that only Pixel users are getting it. But now that Google has finally made it more public, hundreds of millions of Android users will be able to try out the Google Assistant.
Stay tuned for the updates.
